The principal architect Abhishek Ranka has a Master’s degree in “Architectural Conservation” from the Sinhagad College of Architecture & “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources” from Ecological Society of Pune with more than 15 years of experience in the field of Architecture Landscape & Conservation, running a design practice based out of Delhi & Pune.
He is a passionate teacher and rendering his services as an Associate Professor to S.B. Patil college of Architecture as post of Associate Professor. He is criteria head for NAAC, Head of the Heritage cell of Institute & also a Team member of Branding Team & involved in the other extra-curricular activities.
A recipient of Toppers List and the best thesis award during his master’s program in Architectural Conservation in Sinhgad College of Architecture, Pune, He worked under the guidance of Prof. M. Shaheer & Mr. Madhup Mazumdar for initial years of his professional career.
As a Principal of Baseline Architect since 2010, he has led the team to work on diverse range of projects ranging from urban scale to micro environments. The spectrum of projects ranges from urban spaces, Auditoriums, Clubs, Hotels, Retails, Housing, Premium Township and Heritage projects across India, Middle East and SE Asia.
He has domain expertise in the Rock-cut Architecture & Temple Architecture, Documentation of Heritage Structures, Conservation, and Restoration & Preservation of the Tangible & Intangible Heritage across the world. He excels in integration of the finer senses of design applications, adaptability to local context and program, creating a sense of place in the designed landscape that binds architectural aesthetics, site suitability, environmental sensitivity & Heritage Values.
He is also Researcher and currently working on the Heritage structures of Rock-cut Architecture of India and extensively did the documentation of Dhamnar caves & Dharmrajeshwar Temple at Mandsaur, Land Forts of Maharashtra with respect to (Military Architecture, Cultural Landscape, and Architectural Typology), and Temples of Goa with respect to Temple Architecture etc.

Qualification: B.Arch. - (2008), M.Arch – (2012) – Environmental Design, Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture, Pune.
Affiliations: Member of Council of Architecture
Achievements: Shortlist in first 18 entries for Universal Design Competition held in Bhopal in 2011. Award winner for slogan writing at national level competition on “Speak on Sustainability” organized by CII in 2012. Part of publication of book “Windows of Possibilities” for Goa development scenarios.
She is been working on a variety of projects in the field of architecture, infrastructure, urban planning and acoustics contributing in an environmental responsive manner. An urge to explore the architectural scenarios & ideas, have made her travel the globe of the industry. Her belief to work with modern technology in unision with the timeless values reflects her work. Gained an all round experience by working with different professionals and organizations like CEE, MCCIA, etc. The core interests lies in conceptualization, developing innovative architectural & lifestyle ideas that influence and impact individuals and communities alike.
